It's knockback has some really good enviromently kills (rare, but good when it happens), interupts your targets aiming and ofc can be used as a 3rd jump. The moment you lose him either milk or run, there are better suited classes to dealing with a spy infestation haha.ġ) Scouts main damage method is to get to point blank range and shell people, 2 point blank shells from the force-o-nature will kill anyone including most heavies. Spy - A real mixed bag, but in general, don't strafe in the same direction for too long, stay close range (but not melee) and shell him. In the likely event he is with someone, try to remain hidden, sneak up and point blank shell him. Medic - Pretty easy, never run in a straight line at them, never strafe in the same direction for too long and be ready to jump backwards if he swaps to melee. Ideally sneak up on them while they are aiming in another direction. Don't go for melee range though, his melee weapons can hit a scout hard. Sniper - A full charged shot will kill you even with a body shot, so if you know he's there let someone else go out first and when you hear him shoot, go out and strafe while closing the gap. Without a sentry = Get close and shell him, be ready for mini sentries and the shotgun that 100% crit's for every kill of a dead sentry. Also an easy target for a long range sandman.Įngie' - With a sentry = Bonk and then charge the sentry with backup, make sure you leave yourself with enough time to get to cover before it wears off. If he has a medic then ignore the heavy, hide from him and sneak up on the medic. Heavy - Real easy, if he's coming for you, don't fight him, if he doesn't know you're there, get behind him and point blank shell him. If you see a shield of any description be ready for his charge. Also he might have a shotgun.ĭemo - Stay at mid-close range, too close and he'll hit you with his G launcher but too far and his stickies will have enough travel time to arm and then detonate right next to you. Pyro - Stay at range, be ready to retreat while dodgeing to the nearest health spawn / medic if he hits you with a flaregun, the 2nd shot will always kill you (if you're on fire, if not you *might* survive. Be aware that he may have a shotgun, which -in the hands of a compatent player- is nigh impossible to dodge. Soldier - The closer you get, the more likely you are to die. A competant scout can be a ***** to hit when dodeging. Scout - Try to catch them unaware, kill / fataly wound them before they get a chance to go into dodge mode.
